A Short Film

This project was beautifully simple to design. With only two actors, and a script laden with mystery and foreboding, I got to lean heavily into making the setting tell its own story. We selected a beautiful colonial era home, rich in ornate details and worn hardwood finishes, to be our shoot location. I drew inspiration from the house’s plainly visible history to build a context of long-existing mystery to complement the script.
