A Short Film

The element of this project I loved the most was the presence of quiet gentleness and beauty amongst the imminent danger of the main plot. I enjoyed creating moments of soft, homey warmth and glittering backgrounds to offset the harsh intentions of the storyline’s villain and the fear of the heroine. I believe that the juxtaposition of such themes of softness amidst the peril serves to raise the stakes and remind the audience of what stands to be lost.
